The EVO386 standard is designed for large spindles. The CeramicSpeed for Shimano kit allows you to install Shimano or FSA cranks with 24mm thru-axle spindles. The cups come with CeramicSpeed bearings installed. CeramicSpeed standard and coated bearings are available. Both use super smooth ceramic speed balls and hardened steel tracks. The latter has an additional metallic coating on the tracks to further soften and harden the steel, further increasing life and reducing strength
