The Galfer Disc Wave Floating is a revolutionary brake disc with true buoyancy, which improves braking and prevents vibrations. The TF (True Floating System) is a system of union between the braking track and the core, which allows slight axial movements in 2 directions for a correct and exact alignment between the pads and the disc when braking. Thanks to these movements, vibrations are avoided, a total thermal cut-off between track and disc is obtained, a powerful, modulable, precise and stable braking is experienced, and the wear of the brake pads is homogeneous throughout their useful life. The V joint between the track and the core optimizes the resistance of the assembly to the maximum against the stresses of the most demanding braking and a very lightweight core design is achieved.
