In addition to biomechanical performance, there was one more important factor when designing our Q RINGS oval chainrings: compatibility. The new Q RINGS Direct Mount oval chainrings will allow you to upgrade your SRAM GXP® crankset. The simplified one-piece design saves approximately 40 grams compared to the standard chainring + spider + screws combination (e.g. weight saving for a 32t chainring is 40g). Direct Mount oval mounts for SRAM GXP® can be used to take advantage of the strongest part of your pedal stroke for greater acceleration and better traction when you need it most.
