Many of today's best mountain bikes feature wider 46mm bottom bracket shells that allow for greater wheel clearance and shorter chainstays, along with strong 30mm oversized axles. For these types of specifications at ROTOR we have developed the Press Fit 4630 bottom bracket, with a 46 mm box diameter for 30 mm axles.In addition, this universal bottom bracket (UBB) concept solves the complicated challenge of compatibility between bottom brackets and cranks so that, with a single bottom bracket of the appropriate size, it works perfectly with all makes and models of that same system.
