Managing to satisfy energy needs during sports practice is one of the biggest handicaps that athletes face, which is why, at 226ERS®, we focus on facilitating the work of obtaining an adequate nutritional contribution. To this end, HydraJelly has been developed together with the most demanding athletes, carefully formulated to achieve familiar flavors that are pleasant and easy to take, along with the novel gelatin texture and a 40g format that facilitate transport and ingestion.

Carbohydrate consumption is closely related to the intensity and duration of exercise, however, maintaining or increasing performance during sports practice, minimizing muscle damage, seeking a stable glycemic state or avoiding emptying of glycogen stores, are some of the benefits that have been appreciated from adequate intake in sports practice.*The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming carbohydrates from all sources in a total intake of 4 g/kg of body weight, in doses taken before four to six hours after finishing physical exercise, a statement intended for adults who have performed high-intensity or long-duration physical exercise.

Hydrajelly has a widely studied glucose-fructose ratio , 4:3 or what is the same 1: 0.75, which presents a higher oxidation rate compared to solutions composed only of a source of monosaccharides, which translates into faster gastric emptying, lower rates of discomfort intestinal and, therefore, greater availability of substrate.

In addition, carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after high-intensity or long-duration physical exercise that leads to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stored in skeletal muscles. 

Hydrajelly is available in 40g format and 5 flavors, all of which contain sodium in different amounts to promote electrolyte balance, a possible cause of the development of muscle cramps and hyponatremia.
