Radios

In this section you will find a wide selection of radios from the best brands, personally chosen by our workers given their quality guarantees and their experience in the field. It is for this reason that our selection of radios is among the best on the market, since we only sell products that we know we can trust.

A spoke or spoke of a wheel is each of the bars that rigidly joins the central area with the perimeter. The center connects with an axle that, at times, transmits the driving traction to the wheel.

The spokes can be made of wood, metal or synthetic fiber, depending on the use that will be made and the tensile, torsional or compressive stresses that they will suffer.

Spoke tensions

In a wheel, a load on the axle causes the tread to deform slightly against the ground, leaving the lower spokes subject to compression forces (shortening or flexing slightly), and the upper spokes to traction forces (lengthening and slightly tightening ).

Wheels whose spokes are tensioned wires (such as those of bicycles) improve their behavior, since the spokes hardly undergo deformation as compression and tensioning stresses are offset. In addition, they are usually mounted tangentially to the central cylindrical area, to optimize their good traction behavior and avoid the torsional forces that are transmitted, mainly, both when accelerating and braking.
