FACE GUARD AND BOTTOM BEARING(compatible with disc or cantilever brakes)The CX-Guard is a simple front fender designed for disc brakes and cantilever brake systems on cyclocross bikes, it also fits many disc road bikes, which significantly reduces the amount of spray and mud thrown into your face and eyes, it also stops the bottom bearing seals from hitting at high speed, increasing their durability and allows you to save money. We have incorporated a cable relief section on either side of the RRP logo on the front to allow it to be used with cantilever and disc brakesWeight:22gCX-Fender AssemblyFront Fender1. Simply fold and slide the fender under the fork or fork clamp2. Loosely attach the cable ties to the fork arms with the CX-Guard on TOP of the fork3. You can now set the angle at which you want the guard to end to ensure it doesn't hit the downtube of your frame, 10mm from the downtube is optimal4. Stay in position and see which push holes you need to use, use a screwdriver or similar to push the holes you want to use5. Slide the zip ties through the selected holes and secure6. Finally, check the angle and alignment and then close all zip ties very tightImage showing the cx-guard installedImportantThe zip ties must be very tight to prevent movement. MINIMUM CLEARANCE: 10mm from tire (front) and 15mm from frame (rear) USE CLEAR PROTECTIVE TAPE on all areas where the guard contacts the fork to reduce scuff marks or scratches INSPECT BEFORE RIDING : DO NOT USE IF DAMAGED IN ANY WAY CONTINUED USE MAY CAUSE FAILURE OR INJURY.
