Our Story:

Located in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, Controltech USA produced its first bicycle product, a lightweight handlebar end, in 1989. It wasn't long before we developed an enviable reputation for our expertise with aluminum. We quickly became known for manufacturing lightweight, strong, and cleverly designed bicycle components from a variety of high-specification alloys.

After some time away from European markets, Controltech USA returned in 2005 with new lines of MTB and Road components. The result? Impressive demand. In 2007-2008, we further expanded our line to include new Road, MTB, and BMX components.

Throughout all that time, we haven't stopped for a second. Over the decades, Controltech has invested heavily in new materials, including scandium, titanium, and carbon fiber, always in pursuit of maximum performance.
