EBC Brakes is a world leader in the manufacture of brake components such as pads, discs, hoses, and calipers. Rapidly expanding within the automotive industry, EBC Brakes has become a global leader in brake pads and discs for motorsports, boasting a comprehensive product range capable of covering all makes and models on the market, not only passenger cars but also commercial vehicles, 4x4s, SUVs, and specialty vehicles. EBC is proud to announce that all its products are manufactured completely free of heavy metals and sulfides, making them fully environmentally friendly.
With a global workforce of over 400 people, EBC Brakes is an independently owned and operated market leader in brakes, proud of its customers, its products, its success, and its people.
EBC Brakes produces the world's largest range of brake pads and discs, with over 5,000 part numbers for every type of vehicle on the move. EBC brakes are manufactured in one of its two specialist factories in the UK and USA. Most EBC brake discs or rotors are also manufactured in the UK.
EBC has no fewer than eight dynamometer systems across its two factories, representing an investment of over $3 million in research. With its 60-year pedigree of brake material blending, you can be confident that brake pads bearing the EBC name will deliver and perform.
The environment is equally important to EBC, and the brake pads manufactured in our factories incorporate every possible consideration for environmental protection. In the early 1980s in Europe, EBC began developing the world's first aftermarket brake pad range. Following a successful launch in Europe, EBC expanded into the US market in the mid-1980s. With rapid expansion in the automotive industry, EBC Brakes has become a global leader in high-performance, sport, and racing brake pads and rotors with a broad range of trademarked products. Recently, EBC launched another innovative material: its environmentally friendly Ultimax 2 brake friction material, which completely eliminates all heavy metals and sulfides.
EBC produces 100% of its brake pad range in its own factories in the UK and USA, 100% of its own motorcycle brake discs/rotors in its UK facilities, and a large proportion of its car brake discs are also manufactured in the UK and USA.
