The idea for milKit came from a mountain bike tour of the United States. A flat tubeless tire due to dry seal milk caused an unexpected break. A problem many tubeless cyclists are familiar with. Product development engineer and enthusiastic mountain biker Pius Kobler was tired of incidents of this kind and decided to do something about it: in the following months he developed milKit. He founded Sport Components AG with a team of passionate mountain bikers and seasoned entrepreneurs. The goal is to make life easier for mountain bikers and other athletes with innovative products and to become a leading supplier of bicycle components.
