Our Story:

The team behind USWE grew up riding off-road motorcycles in the Swedish countryside, seeking adrenaline in deep mud pits and on steep climbs. We filled our backpacks with enough food, water, and gear to keep us and our bikes going day and night. The backpacks were incredibly uncomfortable and bounced around our aching backs like dancing monkeys or who knows what. We hated it!

Our frustration led us to buy an old Husqvarna sewing machine in 2007 for a couple of dollars so we could start working on our own backpack prototype. Did we know how to sew? Of course not. Did we enjoy it? Absolutely. And USWE was born.

Today, we're a global brand designing bounce-free action backpacks for athletes and weekend warriors who would rather spend two hours hiking through cold mud than 10 minutes in a shopping mall. Our packs also perform well in the sun during a good morning jog. Our action packs utilize our award-winning 4-point suspension design. They are made to be 100% bounce-free, from which the "No Dancing Monkey" technology was born. We designed our suspension chassis and crafted our pack designs based on our own experience and knowledge. All packs are developed in conjunction with our key athletes and ambassadors, who set the pace for our high-end product standard. The unique shape and suspension allow you to adjust the packs really tight to your body without affecting your breathing capacity or body movement.
