Covered tires for road bikes

Although the wheels always come from the factory with our bicycles, they are the component that is most in contact with the ground, and therefore the one that will potentially be subject to greater wear. Whether due to wear or to improve the performance of our bicycle, it is important that the wheels are of quality. At Onveló we have selected those brands that we know we can trust so that our customers do not have to worry about having to change the wheels of their bicycles before necessary, even being able to enjoy them much longer than usual.

The bicycle wheel is composed of a rubber tire, inside which is an air chamber (also made of rubber) mounted on a rim, a central hub and the spokes that connect the two.

Normal bikes use 36 spokes. 32-spoke rims and hubs are used to achieve lighter wheels, and 40 and up to 48-spoke wheels are used for a tandem or a delivery bike. The spokes can be set radially or tangentially.
